What is the best television/TV for music games in general?

Well I'm actually asking what TVs you guys use, because my TV just broke literally minutes ago.

I used search and only found one thread about IIDX and how HDTV/Plasma have response lag. The only games I play on the TV would be Street Fighter series/Bemani music games like Popn'/IIDX/DDR/etc and smash bros.

I'm also asking this because an old TV I used to have had lag and it was a CRT TV (not sure what the cause was, but it did lag).

Help me find a replacement TV that I could get by tomorrow? ._.;

My budget would probably be less than $1500 which I'm sure is more than enough for a lagless TV. I was saving up for an HDTV so I could buy a 360/PS3 to really enjoy high definition, but I'm willing to put that on hold for my games that I know and love.

It's a new century, pick up a nice HDTV for less that $1500. In which there are a lot to choose from for under that price range.

Good old tube CRT - still can get them at best buy, etc. Then save a bit for an HDTV for your XBOX 360/PS3

My local Best Buy and Sears don't carry CRT's anymore =/

you are easily within reach of a non-lag TV with $1500. I recomend a medium sized TV (about 30"), and a popular brand. If lag bugs you ask a employee if you can test the TV for lag, sometimes they will let you.

Also many TV's with computer hook-ups dont seem to lag as often as a normal HDTV.

I also have noticed the more expensive in the size of TV the better.
