Yup, and he performed it the same way he did Lion Suki... in other words, creepily! Oh well, one has to admit that we can't be good at everything: Yamaoka may be a bad singer, but at least he does great music.

Anyway: my baddest vocalist choice... not the one who did Ready to Rockit Blues, not that sleepy voice from Cosmic Raise, not any of the BeForU members... but Erika Mochizuki, who could have been a bit better if she could at least make a little bit of effort in English. I couldn't get anything of what she said in the English version of pandora by TAKA.

She sounds better in Japanese, trust me. A bit squeaky, but at least it sounds much much better.

I discovered that I now hate the random chick who sang INJECTION OF LOVE's english version. She managed to a completely good song.

Erika did Japanese songs? Now you teach me something, I haven't heard any of them... (and I'm serious!)

I'm sure everybody from around here agrees that the name Erika Mochizuki and her voice carries a really heavy stigma. This stigma is so strong that I'm reluctant to admit that those 2 songs are actually pleasant to listen to although still just a bit jarring to the ears. But I don't think they sound better simply because she's singing in Japanese, but maybe because she's also singing at a lower range without getting into that annoying style as much (she gets squeaky during the chorus in that first song, but hmm, maybe that style does seem to work better in Japanese rather than Engrish).

Oh yeah, and that fat trumpet dude totally made my day.

Actually, I have heard the long version (which I liked). She definitely doesn't sound nasally there, but it may have been modified, although I still do hear a tiny bit of nasal. And I DEFINITELY hear it in short version. Just listen to an autoplay or something, just not while playing. It is quite obvious I think throughout. I don't think it completely ruins a song, it's just a bit of a gripe at first.

There's a bunch of concert footage of her singing with the better sounding voice, and I'd say it's pretty darn clear that it's not modified (and as she doesn't even sing that well live IMO, she's definitely not lip syncing). And I do listen to the short version in the OST sometimes, so I'm just concluding that my definition of nasal is a bit different than yours :P.

Does anyone know who sang CLOUDY MUSIC by the way?
