The thing that I like most about the CaptivAte series is that it tells a fragmented story and each song has a particular atmosphere in it that is reinforced by the thematic strength of the lyrics. (Jouka is the sky (lyric references to the sky and the moon), Sabaki is the oceans (lyric references sinking, boats, oceans and depths) and Chikai is the snow ("dyed in the brightness of the snow" is one of the lines in the song).
So yes, I hope he finishes the story, haha. |
Intersting
-------------
Though for me
The best part that I like lies in the melody and rhythm itself.
It's hard to describe it in words...........but you can really feel that aspect in each song.
Personally, here's what I feel.
Jouka
-piano sections indicate sadness and melancholy
Sabaki
-those acoustic and electric guitar sounds give the notion of breaking free.
Chikai
-piano and that part (from Custom Drive on IIDX DD) symbolizes new beginnings and that one person is enjoying the moment wherein times passes and changes with each passing second.
Or something like that

At least SUPER HERO doesn't sound as crap as those two. |
I don't know.
I kinda liked Max Love imho.
Granted, it may not have been an opposite to DJT's darker and "tough guy" theme.........but it was real good in my book.
That's probably just me though
