A few questions about DANCER by De Vol

A few questions basically:

1) Who or what is De Vol?
They only appeared once in BM IIDX and after 8th style, they were not seen anymore. So what is this, a one time band? Also, no info can be found on the band De Vol (except for Frank De Vol which is not related)

2) Female vocalist........but demented voice???
So it means that someone else is doing the vocals or that there are effects and distortion added to the voice or something(?)

3) What is Nu Skool?
Wiki says that it's related to breakbeats genre (where songs like Gravity are part of). Yet then again, the beats are more of rock so how can it be related to songs like Gravity which are more techno-ish??? What... is Nu Skool anyway??? Is it rock?

I think DE VOL is a pseudonym for AKIRA YAMAOKA

Odd vocals are kinda like a mainstay for Akira.

Nu-Skool is probably more rock influenced. Like Just A Little Smile

Shigekix is correct, De Vol is an Akira Yamaoka pseudonym.

Nu-skool is a subgenre of breaks, but it is not Big Beat, which many of Taq's songs including Gravity fall into.
