Default Hirofumi Sasaki

Yes, we all want this dude to come back in the Bemani scene, but too bad he may not. He seems to be doing other projects, right? He is a freelance musician after all. :P

He makes the best progressive songs. All of them are really good. All his stuff under his name are tied at first place, except Kodomo no rakugaki chou, which comes second.

Yeah, he made BOBBY SUE AND SKINNY JIM, To the IST, the engrishy DEPARTURE, some ee'MALL song (correct me if I'm wrong) and some pop'n 13 song (probably a Bemani Expo song, I forget its title, and I believe it's with TOMOSUKE).

ITT, we refer to the GF6DM5 song as "Kodomo no rakugaki chou."

No way! He also did Bobby Sue And Skinny Jim AND Departure!?! Wow.

Yeah, all the songs under his name are awesome. I wish he'd come back & do more songs.

Cocytus his last song... not the best IMO T_T!!

I love pretty much everything of Hirofumi Sasaki (I'll say all the songs because there's so little and all rules, timepiece phase II, The last 100(333)sec., Tamayura (<3<3), Concertino in Blue, Feux d'Artifica, BS&SJ, DEPARTURE, Kodomo no Rakugaki Chou, To the IST (<3<3)) EXCEPT Wall-street down sizer I hate that song >_<

Also he made two of the BGM of GF5th mix: resurrection & blind alley.

He played the piano for some songs on Asaki's Album (I think Akai Suzu, not quite sure xP)

His work with Tomosuke is Fish Boys.

I really wish I knew what other work he has done outside of Bemani. He's probably one of my favorite artists ever.

That was that ee'MALL song. It's probably because I knew it as an ee'MALL song first than a song from pop'n 8 CS.

Shizuku, and I think it's the only one contributed with Hirofumi Sasaki as the pianist. I'm not quite sure with Yogo no ne, as it's a potential candidate for Hirofumi Sasaki playing the pianos there because they're awesome.

I don't but I actually kinda liked that song when I first played on V3.

The tunes were kinda funky and the notechart that it had was sort of a mix between average and chalenging. Sorta like a training routine for long snare rolls.

In any case, I too am surprised that he also did To the IST (so I guess he was also known as "Glancer" then). All I can say was that it was an easy yet fun song.

Nuff said

Haha Hirofumi is the king of extremely hard charts on GFDM

My favorite of his would be Kodomo no Rakugaki Chou :3

Gaaah, it took me quite a while to find what song this is.........only to find out that it was already a song I knew a long time ago.

So yeah

You should've just said "Children's Sketchbook" then I would've understood it.

Saying "Kodomo no rakugaki chou" is much better than saying "Children's Sketchbook."

Is it true that there's a long version of "Kodomo no rakugaki chou"?

This is a pretty silly statement and I hope you're not serious about it.

Huh

WTF? *head scratches*

I don't know if I just drank way too much coffee or if the world just went one notch closer to insanity.

P.S.
I guess Sir Jumbo here pretty much said it for me.

I just love how he introduces the progressive genre in the early mixes. Too bad we won't see any new stuff from him.
