Best Junko Hirata in terms of vocal power IMO.
As for Ayane, I dunno, I think it's her mainstream Pseudonym or something..

I have trouble finding her songs off the net, but I think she started out as a Bemani musician first before joining Avex.
Or is it vice versa?

I don't think she is with Avex.
And she has been making stuff as Ayane before joining BEMANI, since 10th style came out in 2004 and her ARCHIVE LOVERS CD came out the same year, but she released several singles before that

Her first single KIZUNA came out in 2004, though.
And yeah, she's not on avex. (Thank God?)
As for UTS.. I'd rather have seen Under the Sky ~AYANE'S solo new version~.

My bad, i thought ARCHIVE LOVERS came a little befor KIZUNA since neither songs on the slinge (KIZUNA/Fly Away) are included in the album, which sucks cause i love Fly Away.
And Yeah, thank god she is not with AveX, i doubt she would have reached the charts with the poor promotion she would have gotten

As for her name... What is her real name?
Junko Hirata?
Why does she use a pseudonym for mainstream but her real name for BEMANI?
And I wonder who composes her mainstream music... :]

Marketplace Rating: 2 | Yeah, she is the singer for Xepher along with some other chick, we dont know why she uses a different name, probably to keep her work separate which i see no reason to, but oh well.
And i suppose she writes all of her lyrics like she's done in BEMANI, as for musical arrangements who knows

And yes, she's not with avex. Archive Lovers and its Trance brother are both produced under Five records. Quote: |

Also, avex does happen to produce music for some of the biggest names in Japan. I mean, come on; Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA, Namie Amuro, Koda Kumi, m-flo...the list goes on.
EDIT: by the way, she and Tatsh both helped out with Riyu's begin album, which was also in 2004. It seems like she started everything at around the same time.

I no longer like Koda Kumi after I heard Ayane's voice.
Let's hope she isn't poached or else Bemani is going lose all their great singers and musicians. They have already lost BeForU, and DDR won't be the same again without them.

After avex, Rx3 was in IIDX Gold, Love2Clutch was in Pop'n Fever CS, Strike Party!! was in GFdm V4, Yamato Nadeshiko was in some other GFdm I don't remember. There's no real reason to be alarmed just because they didn't show up in one game despite that it's a tiny break in a pattern.

They promote loads of smaller artists as well, but the only reason that Namie and ELT and Hamasaki Ayumi and BoA and Tohoshiki and Otsuka Ai all these other bands get more promotion is because their music is meant to appeal to the masses and as a result get a wider marketing range. BeForU appeal only to a certain audience at this current point in time - anime fans, bemani fans, video game fans to name a few. As such, avex aren't going to market a group with such a limited audience like they promote bigger artists because otherwise it would mean a loss of income on them that they won't be able to regenerate. And back to Junko...
The Gurren Lagann Character Song single.
Hey look, it's Ayane.
EDIT: 1000 post get.

The new Tatsh songs in SN2 And Pop'n something are supposedly character singles..
And I was right! Where Tatsh goes, Ayane follows!

Hey look, it's Ayane. | Now that is quite interesting. So her last Bemani song, which was still under Junko Hirata, came out about a year ago (at least as in the Gold location test late August 2006). Archive Lovers came out in late April 2007 as Ayane (of course). Now this Gurren Lagann thingy is a Konami related thing was released late July 2007 under Ayane. So now it seems really possible that she may go by Ayane in even Bemani from now on too.
