Licensed artists

Ok.

So i saw someone bumped the very old Smile dk. thread, so i figured we make one talk about all licensed artists.

I personally got into DDR because of it's licenses, to be honest, from 4th mix down, the licenses were better than the KOs IMO.

I used to love E-rotic, all of their songs were really funny to me, but there were others that really rocked, like Cat's Eye and In the heat of the night.

There where some pretty good one hit wonders like Morgana with "never gonna make" and bang with "shotting star".

I think the licensed content went to the drain after Extreme, now we get really awful songs like 'i'll make love to you' or 'Shout'. the Pandora songs are goof tho.

Hmm, I can see this thread being renamed the Dancemania thread since the only real licensed "regulars" are from there. Otherwise, this can probably encompass all licensed songs in these games in general.

Anyway, as I feel the latter to be more appropriate, I think I can mention how I just started to get a bit into those Initial D songs in 6th and 7th IIDX styles. We got Night of Fire, Heartbeat, Remember Me, and Burning up for You. Outside that, I think my favorite IIDX Eurobeat of all due to the cheeziness factor is perhaps Solid Gold.
