Overplayed-to-death/underplayed songs in Bemani

Ok, ok. It's a given that in DDR...

...are ridiculously overplayed. In addition, licenses (namely, It's Raining Men and Somewhere over the Rainbow) rarely get play time.

In GFdm, everybody is unanimous that Dragon Blade is "The-Most-Overplayed-Song-to-Death-in-GFdm-History." However, I, personally speaking, have noticed that Funky sonic World, along with the "Pathetique Trio" (Seiron, sotto., and Souhaku) are underplayed to the point that only a handful of players know of their existence.

In IIDX, I've seen a lot of players who go in Super Arcade as to them, DoLL is must.

Have to add Daikenkai to the overplayed list. Not so sure on DDR 'cause I never play and there is no Pop'n nearby but I know that on GF/DM, it is whored out constantly (though not to the point where it would overtake the "almighty" Dragon Blade).

Nowadays, almost everyone who plays the BMIII machine here plays Daikenkai, because "it's on DDR". It doesn't matter whether they can pass it or not, they just HAVE to play Daikenkai. e_e

The fact that Daikenkai is one of the demo songs makes things even worse.

I swear I am the only person who ever plays Sync at the arcades I've been too, along with Ska a GO GO.
Genom Screams is never played. Ever. I only saw one person try it, and that was on doubles and he failed it because the left pad sucked.
Irresistiblement is another song that I only seemingly play at the arcades. It was also the first song I played when I got an Extra stage, and I passed with an A. Crowds of people are easily impressed.
Any of the Trip Machines, even Survivor.
Has anyone ever seen somebody play 20,November? Yeah, me neither.

Overplayed=Most songs from DDRMAX *originals except I'm in the Mood for Dancing, Justify my Love, and MAYBE a couple of others*. Obviously the Maxes *Just because they're fast!*, which makes me fucking sick to hear from nooblets AND people who don't even play. Don't talk hot shit if you're not even NEAR my level!

Ok, Paranoia Survivor and Paranoia Survivor Max, Can't Stop Fallin' in Love=OVERPLAYED!
But what's underplayed? The Least 100 Seconds, Xenon, Destiny, and even though I WHORE this song, Pink Rose. That's all I can think for now, but by NO MEANS is that list in the first post done lol

That's odd, most of the songs in the MAX folder here are never played with the exception of Freckles, Max 300, and Let's Groove.

A lot of the oni remixes other than Sexy Planet don't see much play here as well.

Agh. I'd have to say Max 300 is overplayed. At least, where I go to play DDR, someone ALWAYS chooses that song at least once, sometimes even twice in the same set of 3 games.

But for underplayed, I'd have to say... Drop Out or Genom Screams. Those songs rock in my opinion, but I never see anyone play 'em. :/

For DDR, I keep seeing Love Shine, Butterfly, Dam Dariam, Speed Over Beethoven, and Abyss.

It's a shame that no one at my arcade understand the beauty that is Absolute and Sakura ( I swear, it's as if the Japanese char. scars everyone away!)

For IIDX, the place I go to is all tweakers, so all they every play is Xepher and Brightness Darkness.

For DDR, White Lovers was a pretty underplayed. I thought the steps were really fun on all levels, but I'm the only person I've seen play it.

Sadly, there is no GFDM, IIDX, or pop'n machines in my area.
