She's originally specializes in Jazz music (if I read her biography correctly) but now she does have a thing for Trance music.

DDR Paula Terry songs aren't really eurobeat. They're more trance than anything else.

From this clip, she sounds like primarily a lounge/jazz/vocal singer, so it's no surprise to me that she's not into eurobeat. Two different worlds.

It's been at least three years since I cared about DDR, so I can't say this revelation will significantly affect my song choices.

Impressed that she's so fluent in Japanese. That's a tough language!

It helps when you have been living there for the past 10-odd years. Sure, she was Sydney-based, but I had not heard of her till DDR. Basically, she's an unknown around here :P

Not a huge fan of her vocals in eurobeat/dance anyways. The tracks on Max Tunes 2+3 are pretty unbearable even though the lyrics are OK and the music is phenomenal (Koshiro Yuzo is awesome). I've listened to some of her jazz stuff and am quite impressed. Stick that jazz, Paula!
