hey ppl. I've been experimenting a while with freestyle competition. its...interesting. anyway i've been watching some youtube and I decided to make videos, but what do ppl want to see is the question. so i'm lookin for suggestions and I'll see if i can do it.

Three suggestions:

Knee drops.

Hand plants.

Matrix walks.

You'll win EVERY competition that way, GAR-UN-TEED.

Seriously, though... 2001 called. They don't want you starting something back up that died with them.

a matrix walk is where you walk up the machine (like ON the screen). If the arcade owner sees you, you are guaranteed to be yelled at. My friend did that alot when he played DDR.

I'll do it in another state. I'm in OK now and plus theres no good players so i don't care if i get kicked out. i just dont want to break the machine

If you're gunning for a freestyle competition, I say:

GO FOR IT!!!

What you'd be doing with indeed bring more flair and diversity to game tournaments.

Plus,

It would be something that would be more interesting as there are very rare (except in a few places like Digital Life tourneys in New York City).

Doing this would help create an even different level of interest as well as it WILL enhance people's perception of the game (for they won't see DDR as something where all you do is just stomp your feet on a ground like a jackhammer drill).

Plus, it is WAY MORE FUN to watch people playing freestyle/choregraphy than watching dudes only doing technical/PA stuff.

Or if there are people who could do the kind of movies that A-team used to do before.........WITHOUT holding on the bar (too much), then that would be killer.

In any case, for some people (new to this thing), they won't know what to expect.

As for those who've been witnesses to different freestyle/choreography tourneys or events, the expectations tend to increase a bit.

Generally, as much as possible, you'd want participants who do not look at the screen (meaning no improvs).

Other than that, I guess that's all that needs to be said (I think).

Im workin on the new game like SuperNova 1 and 2. The closest Cabinet is and hour away so I want to get many routines cuz its hard to get out there. I have other routines I just need to put them on youtube.
