It was indeed Yoshitaka. Tatsh trance and Yoshitaka trance are two separate beasts. While I like the latter more, they're both actually really good. | |

Heck no. Hirata Shoichiro ≠ Tatsh. Hirata Shoichiro did some work for Hello!Project and he arranged some of my favourite songs to ever come out from that empire (Ekizo na Disco, Yeah! Meccha Holiday (HIGH TUNED mix), Dokusenyoku, Dekoboko Seventeen, Hitorijime, Issai Gassai Anata ni A-Ge-Ru♪ and Suki Sugite Baka Mitai) He's got a different style from Tatsh.
Tatsh is a full-time inhouse Konami artist as far as I know.

Well said. And to add in some of his Bemani material, you probably know Shoichiro Hirata better as Sho-T, Shawn the Horny Master, and D.J. Spugna. This means Groove, Bad Routine, Ave de Rapina, A Stupid Barber, etc.
Anyway, I also heard that Tatsh was injured for a couple months recently, which may be the reason why it doesn't appear he has anything on GOLD. However, like what many others think, I'm pretty sure he's still active. If I'm not mistaken, he's one of the five artists that are currently working on the DistorteD CS along with TAKA, L.E.D., Ryu*, and kors k. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. | |

Yep. Those are the five. And if I remember correctly, a good number of songs are going to be collaborations between them. If things go as well as I'm hoping they will, DistorteD's CS songlist might be able to make up for the arcade's lackluster one. Here's hoping for a SigSig2 as a project between kors k and Ryu☆! | |

Before I knew it was her, I kept asking myself the same question since the vocals owned in that song.
EDIT: I was also pondering about a Ryu* remix of HORIZON, which would be pretty darn decent too. And here's to wishful thinking of a Mei2.

And about Tatsh's name...I checked the Japanese wikipedia and the katakana pronunciation of Tatsh is ƒ^ƒbƒVƒ… (Tasshu, drop the u sound). So I've been prounouncing it right all this time. o_o;
