That could be for one of two reasons:

1. Naoki originally composed Brilliant R•E•D, but is no longer a member of platoniX. As a result of being the creator of the original, he probably had more say in the musical direction of the song (well, moreso than Tatsh and Junko, anyway), so the song probably became more of a collaboration than an outright platoniX project, and thus, the moniker was dropped.

2. The platoniX moniker was retired after IIDX RED. It's not something that I want to believe, but this is starting to appear more and more likely...*sigh.

As for 月光 (ver 0.99), I believe that the song is really closer to J-Eurobeat than it is to Trance, so my rule applies.

Then again, I count Don't Be Afraid Myself as Europop rather than trance. I mean, starting 13 seconds into the song, it has that Euro style. I suppose it's a matter of opinion though.

I have a take on the platoniX name after looking at the different artist groups in Bemani.

For me, I think there's a certain "image" in terms of music style. platoniX have a certain style to them. So perhaps the songs released under the Tatsh feat. Junko Hirata name (I think) allows Tatsh to have a free reign of what he can do and not be restricted by what musical style the platoniX name has set itself to be.

Again, it's just me so take it as you will. :p I'm not the biggest Tatsh or Junko Hirata fan so those are just my observations.

Either that and it's a (pre-avex) BeForU situation in which the composer takes his time in between songs for a group. :p

Hold on. Are you referring to how Tatsh and Junko Hirata had things to do with the begin album, or is that just an example?

Well, maybe there isn't any real reason for using/not-using "platoniX." They might just be using it whenever they feel like it. Either way, I feel like platoniX isn't really going anywhere now.. >_<

The site is being remodeled. I remember the old version didn't really have anything except for a bulletin board and information on all the Bemani songs she's done. I can't wait for them to put it up with new stuff. Maybe she's kicking her career up a notch. Finally

Oh, and I LOVE Tabitachi no Uta. It's got that hard rock feel with a little bit of cute-ish sounds in the music.. lovely. PlatoniX/Tatsh feat. Junko Hirata is probably the only group where I like ALL of their songs. Of course, they haven't done enough for me to dislike any of it yet, I guess

I'd have to agree with you, except maybe in the case of 'CARRY ON NIGHT (English version)' [which didn't really age well] and 'DOUBLE♥♥LOVING HEART' [which Sayaka ruined, actually]. They need an album already, dangit!

Just wondering, but how many of you guys like CARRY ON NIGHT (English version)? I might get chewed out for saying this, but I actually rather enjoy it. I soon very well may find it to age horribly, since the first time I heard it was about 2 months ago when I ordered 10th style.

Wow, I noticed that after reading this, the word "English" to me didn't seem like a real word anymore. It goes to show that this place talking about "Engrish" and all is really going to my head.

As for Carry On Night, that would be regarded as Engrish. I personally don't find anything wrong with it other than that. I still prefer it over Riyu's so called English version of Baby's Tears.

Definitely.

Carry on Night (English Version) is quite nice actually, and the engrish is not that bad compared to other songs (like RX3 or the famous Baby Tears). Still Tabitachi no Uta holds as my favorite.

And i dont think Sayaka ruined Double Loving Heart, come on, you can barely hear her in the songs, she's only got a few verses and the rest, including the chorus, is all Junko
