teranoid and friends

I was actually thinking of making this for awhile now as she's pretty well known, but hearing a request for this finally made me make one. By the way, "friends" refers to MC Natsack, kors k (Disconation/OMEGA FORCE/StripE), Koja Yukino, LIA, Ryu☆, etc.

I'd like to start by saying that there are already five albums out so far, which are all highly recommended to look into if you're a fan of any of the above artists/vocalists. In addition, there are many other albums where you can find works of the aforementioned. So far, all I know of is kors k's Disconation and LIA's enigmatic (and many non-enigmatic) albums. I also hear that Ryu☆ has stuff out too, but I don't have any info on that. Anyone please feel free to give some more input.

Most of the stuff that Ryu☆ has out are all on vinyls or compilations, so tracking it down is going to be hard unless you've got money or knows someone that has rips. Also, woot for teranoid/kors k/MC NATSACK/ LIA (ESPECIALLY LIA!!!) love.

I am in love with SigSig now. ;~; It's your fault, darkamdusias! The video is addicting to watch too! Go MAYA and her ○○ keyword from kors k! xD

But in any instance, I am in love with the music by teranoid and friends. I can't seem to get enough of it. My favourite of the bunch is Ryu*, but his stuff is really hard to track down. I love the sugary songs like there's no tomorrow.

And after listening to the song ay carumba!!!! on teranoid anthems, I found MC Natsack less annoying. (I still like poking fun at his name though. XP) I guess you do need a voice like that to fill the space at times.

I like LIA. I know her mostly from doing songs with I've Sound such as Disentegration and Tori no Uta, which are good songs in their own right. HORIZON was a very pretty song too.

Sadly, I haven't heard anything by KOJA YUKINO yet. I know there's a teranoid album with her on it but is it worth it?

Sadly, no, because she can't sing. The only good KOJA YUKINO song on there is shining stars (Ryu☆&MC NATSACK Remix), and that's only because Ryu☆ and Natsack make it awesome. The two tripping contacts are really good, though. As far as LIA goes, have you checked out enigmatic LIA yet? That's one of the greatest albums of all time, and you need to hear it.

From what I can tell, a lot of people actually really liked the Koja Yukino one, but I'm not sure if it's because of Koja Yukino. Personally, the only song I really avoid on there is forever dreams. And I agree with darkamdusias that the 3 songs he mentioned are the best on the album, and in my opinion, those 3 songs alone are pretty much worth it (I liked the song teranoid anthem too). Oh yeah, and if you liked SigSig, get the underground edition for the full version.

About LIA, it's funny how she doesn't have much to do with any teranoid album thus far except for the inclusion of the extended HORIZON in overground. She's included here since much of the same good material can be seen in her enigmatic albums, which even has a few teranoid stuff as well. And yeah, definitely check enigmatic LIA out as it combines her immaculate voice with some of kors k's best. Pretty much everything on there is at least HORIZON worthy, and I like HORIZON a lot.

I think I'd have more to say if I got into IIDX earlier.

I fall for every song I've heard from Ryu* so far, kors k is pretty much amazing and HORIZON is something I enjoy very much. BTW, are these people commissioned?

IMO I see nothing wrong with the Koja Yukino album either. IMO again her voice was alluring, and nice to listen with. She has that distinct huskiness in her singing.

Oh, and I liked her In The Sky (Alistair Mix) there. Haven't heard the other songs...

Yes, I agree. I could also imagine the shadow being really well done as a teranoid remix.

Plus, in case no one knows already, there's a teranoid/MC Natsack event in May and details can be found in this thread. I suppose if any of you are in Japan, this is a great opportunity.

Also, I managed to watch a video off Youtube of The Shadow. It sounds like an awesome song. ^_^

Not to mention I found the video that came with the overground 1.05 on Youtube. Is the chick speaking on video teranoid herself? Because Koja Yukino was speaking on the overground edition KOJA YUKINO intro movie and I can't see it being other than teranoid speaking in that video. :/
