Those three songs are constantly stuck in my head nowadays.

Those three songs are constantly stuck in my head nowadays. | Haha, interestingly, my favorite kors k songs don't sound anything like those three, so perhaps your definition of "good" is much different from mine. If I were to make a rough comparison with similarities, the shadow can somewhat be compared to tripping contact if one can imagine tripping contact without a melody or teranoid's Nu Style Gabba sounds. But to me, tripping contact is perhaps 10x better than the shadow because of those things. Personally, my favorites by him involve his trance with piano (Love is Eternity, last day, Starting Over), ones that reminds me of HORIZON (HORIZON , New World, You Are...), and tripping contact. EDIT: For some reason, I also like higher a lot.
Meanwhile, I've noticed something interesting. If one were to look at Ryu* and kors k's careers in Bemani, there's an odd parallel.
1. Both debuted in 4th style with a decent song
2. Both took a good break for 4 styles and came back in 9th remixing some other Bemani song
3. Both came out with something amazing in 10th and both continue to make great stuff thereafter.
EDIT: Anyone know what happened to them between and during 5th and 8th? Quote: |

Also, nice parallels between Ryu* and kors k... I think they just took a break between 5th-8th. That, or Taka didn't realise just how good they really are :P

Also, as I've said, I don't really know much about kors k, but I'm trying to learn. Okay, take back my comment about 'the shadow' being good. I don't like it very much anymore.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | kors k and Ryu* have added their comments for Second Heaven and the shadow on the IIDX GOLD website!
Second Heaven: V‹ÈЉî
the shadow: V‹ÈЉî
Second Heaven is apparently intended to be a homage track to people who moved Ryu the most last year and he explains why he called the genre HANDZ UP.
Apparently, it's a genre chiefly produced in Germany. He says that it's Germany's "Buchiage Trance" (Only, different) You're supposed to get a lot of kick from the bass and synthesizers (? Ryu uses "tacksynth" (takkushinse) which I assume to be a type of synthesizer) It's not very complex, musically but the power comes from a... the fact it's a 'sparkling trance'. (Uh, I don't know how else you would translate kirakira toransu) and apparently since the sound is so powerful it's a hit in the US that it got on the Billboard Top 10. (Ryu, what the hell are you talking about? o_o) And apparently that was the genre's first achievement.
I don't know about you, but I've never heard anything about HANDZ UP before.

I don't know about you, but I've never heard anything about HANDZ UP before. | I've heard that around, but have a fruitless Google search so far. I do remember one time seeing a foreign language Wiki with an article on it, though.
Cascada's 'Everytime We Touch' is the closest thing I could think of that sounds remotely similar to Second Heaven that made it on the billboards.

Anyway, this may go a bit off topic from the teranoid underground sphere of influence, but I just listened to Prismatic the other day, and I want to say that it seems many people overlook it. I love hearing the original acoustic versions of the songs in enigmatic and such, and I found that I actually liked the original You Are... more than the OMEGA FORCE remix as good as it was. Does anyone know who did the original You Are...?
