When I seen the topic title, I thought of another album.

Hahaha, I guess not.

rsp: Sadly you were mistaken... but rest assured that if there is another album, I'd make a huge post about it in the IIDX forum -- which will then be moved to another section. Hey, what can I say? I love giving teranoid massive exposure and the IIDX forum is by far our most popular.

Can anybody here contribute some info on the discographies of these artists? And I don't just mean the Bemani ones either. The DJ Shimamura stuff is really starting to grow on me.

That's the problem with a lot of these underground artists, it's freaking hard to trace their stuff. Like, I am dying for more Ryu* stuff but it's hella hard to find.

Actually, if anybody can redirect me to a place where I can find more about the stuff Ryu's released I'd be grateful. Beatnation records is not helping.

This isn't much, but it's a start: Ryu*

It does not however, factor in his Whitelabel releases, electronic downloads, or less known records. It also happens to be missing some of his IIDX/pop'n stuff.

I recently started listening to Ryu* more after hearing In the Sky.. and then moved on to teranoid and I'm trying to hear everything I can now. They're pretty good so far, and Ryu* is now my favorite composer from Bemani. And Koja Yukino's voice is ok for the type of music they do, since it's not like the focus is the vocals. It suits their style nicely =)

Doesn't the title "You Are..." remind you of a few other songs, nilmind? Maybe there's another connection here...

Hahaha. I can assure you that it's nothing more than a happy coincidence. However, it is kind of funny to see my "most played" playlist look like some sort of verb conjugation lesson. And I'll admit that I'm actually kind of surprised to see you here as some of the music here may be of an acquired taste. Personally, particularly for gabba, it took a few weeks for me to get accustomed it.

Oh yeah, and I wanted to ask you about that "hue-change" technique you used for your avatar. Is there a tutorial you can point me out to?

It looks like a gradient of blue and pink set with the layer settings/opacity fiddled with in Photoshop. o:

ANYWAYS! I made a really useful discovery! I checked out the HOBiRECORDS/Upsurge site and MC Natsack has started his own radio show on the site - MC Natsack's RADIO RUSH HOUR!

HOBiRECORDS/Upsurge -radio-

I'm in the middle of listening to it - it's MC Natsack and kors k hosting and they talk about the upcoming RUSH HOUR II vs UPSURGE event in Club Citta on 5/13.

Thirty minutes of rapid spoken Japanese. You must be out of your mind. No promises.

Okay, okay. I'll try and make out what they're saying.

Oh, and I found MC Natsack's blog: Natsack VoicEEEEEE - livedoor Blog(ブログ)

Is it just me, or am I the only one who was amused when I saw that the first thing that Natsack wrote about JAKAZiD was that he was a enthusiastic Bemani Fan? Reading his entries crack me up, Natsack's got a sense of humour.
