Think of all the games that we know Andamiro for:
Pump it Up
Think of all the games that we know Konami for:
Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania, Pop'n Music, Guitar Freaks, Drummania, Keyboardmania, Etc.
Konami wins easily. | |

BTW, your all bold posts are starting to get on my nerves.

Each new trax 'all seven of them' comes out with 10 new songs. 7 are way easy and rubbish, three are ok. Each song lasts a good 1:20 and song selection screen has a timer of 3 months so Koreans can act cool acting which song to play as though they can pass every one of the 6 challenging tracks. I live in Korea.
Beatmania IIDX. 14 styles not including BM or BM III. 50 New songs a style. Each song about 2:00 mins. More than enough challenge for veterans.
Andamiro only got one thing right and that was making the game very accessible and easy to newbies. When you get good at it, there isnt much challenge at all. Also goo dto impress chicks.....play any song at a super high speed with crazy mods and listen to ooohhs and aaahhhs.
Konami nailed this bout

Aparrently, Konami pwns Andamiro (well, in some aspects. Think Supernova....).

Gameplay and music is where you'll find the big debate, since that's a matter of preference(four vs five, 8ths vs 16ths/triples/quads, jpop vs kpop).
I don't think anyone can argue who's the graphical leader in the dance industry though.
Beatmania now, no question, their graphics are top notch.
DDR's, not so much.
So on the whole, I'll side with Konami, who've made four awesome music games that I love.
(Though as far as how companies are run... I can't stand Konami. They gave the proverbial middle finger to the US arcade DDR community for how many years? Three? And then call a hack mix like Supernova their apology?
[Don't even get me started on the Roxor drama.]
Andamiro and Roxor alike care about the communities and always look for input from the players.
Konami just want the dollars. At least that's how I see it.)
Andamiro make my favorite dance game, but that's it.
Though I would really like to see them broader their horizons.
I've heard rumors they've done an FPS before...

I've played DDR for about 4 years now, and I can handle any song fairly well. Throw a Crazy song from Pump and I'm screwed. I've literally passed one (Valenti!). As far as being "Dance-able" Pump it Up murders DDR, in that it's actually Choreographed. I much enjoy playing Eras Para Mi and being able to actually move to it with spins naturally, DDR is arrow mash.
I would even go as far as to say that Pump it Up is not accesible to "newbies" due to the fact that you need to use the arrows to select songs (one of the things that I really wish they would just swich over to freakin' buttons on the machine), as well as the archaic system of button combinations to select modifiers (that had me thrown off untill I asked someone at a machine how to bump speeds up)
