Woot! While you're at it, you should totally ask him if he ever plans to release the full version of "So Fabulous!!" on an album. Seriously. I want that song. Ditto for the full version of starmine.

I've heard that they do exist, but he just didn't feel like releasing them yet or something. But they were performed in beatnation Live, so once the DVD comes out, I'm sure that sound ripping would suffice.

I'm kind of surprised that CONTRACT's doing so bad by the way.

yeah... I prefer listening to the short version of Nageki No Ki and Kachoufusetsu
while I prefer to the album version of Ganymede and Contract. waxing and wanding is a well balanced track to listen to on both versions.

It's a hard call as I pretty much like all of them equally.

In fact, this is the only version mode where I like all of its songs.

For GOLD's VIP Room, there was just one song that I liked the least: Fatal Attack (but that's because I'm not too fond of songs from the Denjin/Jaeger series).

Musically it's ok.

But come Troopers, gaaah the bigger half of songs are just sucky (really went downhill big time)

It's only Icarus and Mendes that are worth listening and playing IMHO. Other than that, the rest of the songs in that mode (Military Splash #2) ALL SUCK ASS!!!

I just hope that changes when EMPRESS gets released.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. I thought four pieces of heaven, MENDES and STEEL NEEDLE were all great. Do It!! Do It!! was awful. Also, Icarus has nothing on Light in the Air ~"oh my god!!"FORCE mix~.

It's just that I don't want fourpieces of heaven, STEEL NEEDLE and do it do it.

Sure, it may be due to my bias for trance, j-pop, j-rock, house and other "lighter" forms of music.

Granted, it doesn't mean that I hate "darker' music either. I do enjoy some techno songs..........if they're done right or that if they're to my liking (ie. stoic makes it because it has a funky beat to it). Well, CONTRACT is considered techno.......but at least it had melody in it (hence why i liked it).

I also don't hate hardcore as long as it's not on the heavy side. So I guess I'm one who prefers Shades of Grey and Happy Hardcore songs over probably a lot of L.E.D. songs (except for Earth Light since its generally trance and Ixion bcoz its Psychedelic) and especially songs from the likes GUHROOVY and NO CHIN.

So yeah, I guess it's just my taste in BM IIDX music is biased to "lighter" songs.

Heh, that's almost exactly the case with me. The thing is that the long Nageki and Kachou didn't really add much to the original.
