I'm talking about those songs that have 2 or more different "versions" (usually, it's just English & Japanese lyrics) like Sunkiss Drop, Why did you go away, Crossroad, Reminiscence (which has 3 different versions), TokyoEvolved, & the newest, NΦ CRIME (if there's more I missed, go ahead & post them). Do you feel like they make any difference to the game/song?
Honestly, with the exception of Sunkiss Drop, I couldn't care less. It might be cause I couldn't care for some of the songs (haven't heard Reminiscence, NΦ Crime was OK), not to mention they don't even affect the gameplay/charts (well, they sometimes affect the movie playing, which is a nice touch). Plus it's sometimes a hassle just to get it (I couldn't get Crossroad -Right Story- for so long).
Edit: I apologize for not adding "I don't really care" as a choice....I knew I was forgetting something......

Sunkiss was neat. WDGYA was superb. Though I to believe that CROSSROAD was done well. Now as for REMINISCENCE, well......as versions they are all ok. But I believe that the only version that I'd want to play is 002 -life- as that was the one that I found best (001 featured Allison Wade at her worst and 003 didn't bode to well for me as there was lack of intensity to it).
As for NO CRIME, I've yet to see it properly (as I wasn't able to do so yet ever since doskoislayer was banned from posting vids on youtube) but hopefully it should be neat. I'll check this out later on and post my feedback and commets during the day if there are recordings posted on YT.

Btw, I guess no one mentioned about era until now (from nostalmix, step mix, nostalmix [a] version, etc etc.). It's really neat concept IMHO.

Back on topic, it really depends on the song, really. And I had to agree with some of you that Why Did You Go Away is the best multiple version song. I wonder why they only include the default version of some of those multiple version songs in the OSTs?

It just sucks that only one version (obviously the one that is available by default) ends up in their respective OSTs. Although songs like TokyoEVOLVED are understandable. (since all those 3 versions of that song only had slight differences; only in the way they've edited)
Here's hoping that Konami would have a change of heart and release both JP and EN versions of NΦ CRIME in the EMPRESS OST.

Infinite Prayer
Infinite Prayer -Floating Flock Style-
Brilliant 2U
Brilliant 2U -Orchestra Groove-
Well it really depends. But Infinite Prayer was one of the best thus far.

You might be referring to Ska Ska No.1 (which is an entirely different song, and it wasn't even a BM 5key/BMIIDX song).
