Least Favorite Artist?

Who is your least favorite BEMANI artist?

If I really had to pick one, I'd have to say Akira Yamaoka.
Of course there are a handful that I like, it's just that a lot of his songs tick me off... <_<

Slake by far. He's got a few decent songs under his alias "Sparker", but his songs are just way too...off-rythmn.

I'm also definitely going with Slake. I've listened to enough of his stuff to the point where I can begin to actually understand some of the music, but it's still not very good. Stuff under his SPARKER alias is decent, though.

Asaki would probably come in second for me. I really don't know why it is that people think he can sing. His instrumental stuff isn't bad, but gods, he shouldn't be allowed to sing.

Alas, a few of you guys hate the genius that is Yamaoka.

Anyways, on-topic now. Osamu Kubota, SLAKE, Yoshihiko Koezuka (sometimes). Well, I'm not completely against Osamu Kubota, which is one of the prodigies in Bemani, but some of his songs aren't just my cup of tea. Same goes to SLAKE (although I've enjoyed the songs that are made under his other moniker SPARKER).

It's visual kei style singing. It comes from the old Japanese operatic style in many respects so it can sound like cats wailing if you're not too used to it.

And for me, it has to be ASLETICS. That's probably the only artist in which I can only play for the sake of playing on IIDX.

I'd also have to agree with Akira Yamaoka... A good majority find his stuff "amazing," but I think it's just weird... Like in most of his songs, the vocals are awkward, and not very enjoyable. "iFuturelist" is one that particularly annoys me. As well as that one that has "sensei" somewhere in the title. >.<

I love Yamaoka. It's wierd. You tend to hate it at first, but then it grows, I think. Like Space Fight.

Same goes for Asaki.

Slake is only god for Sparker.

Kubota has to stop putting that same set of notes into each of hs songs.

Tatsh needs to stop this J Pop shit unless it's a Don't be afraid myself long version.

kors k needs to never do that disconation crap again.

Yoshitaka is starting to suck.

So is Sota.

Who's the worst? Well they all make good music every now and then, so I dunno...
