Anyway, I didn't say that Kubota and SLAKE aren't good artists (in fact, I can pretty much say that they're talented, especially to Osamu Kubota). It's that the songs they compose aren't my type to listen to (only for playing in IIDX, much like kanna said to ASLETICS). But, for SLAKE's case, I did enjoy the songs he composed under his 2 other monikers (SPARKER and CALF), both for listening ang playing. Quote: |

Shimizu Tatsuya - aka Tatsh. He writes really bad J-POP and eurobeat. Like, really bad (Carry on Night aside). His non-vocal songs (Genocide, Dirty of Loudness, Twelfth Style, zenius-i-vanisher) are so much better.
Kida Shunsuke - untalented pop'n music composer who writes boring, dull, never-ending songs covering genres already heard in much superior songs in the series already. His one great accomplishment to Bemani was the music for Tomosuke's Jet Coaster Girl. That's it. The Kiddy and the Sunshine Lovers quartet are some of the worst songs in pop'n music.
Kirioka Maki - he's the guy who wrote z.o.e. (gamelan minimal mix) and DENGUE, two of the worst songs in Bemani. He couldn't compose a song to save his life.

Just because Tatsh writes non-anime songs doesn't make them bad!
Akira Yamaoka's work, be it techno or rock, is all nothing short of amazing. Why is he mentioned as a bad artist?? At this rate I'm surprised nobody listed Mr. T.... and he had better NOT be in this thread. Period.
I give my vote for worst Bemani artist to Terra. Sorry kids. You're just another J-rock band.

Next would be asletics, because thy only have one song I like (war game). What the hell was fire dub? I dont really like much by naoki thats under the Naoki Alias, nor do I like much by Sys. SF, but I love stuff by Sota. :P Aliases sometimes make the song. I dont really like Osamus new stuff, or much of slakes new stuff. however, they have 2 of my favorite all time songs (Estella and Music to your head.) Reo Negumo hasnt done much i like, but then DJ Nageuro hasnt either. So yeah....Noria.
Oh, and Jondi and Spesh and Ryu can remix wonderfully, but I dont like there self producted music (I like Ryus more often than Jondi and Speshes. Ive not liked a single one of there songs, and Ive liked a couple of Ryus.)

Naoki makes a lot of songs...but none of them are so profound....(Termination is like the only song I like...)
And then Jun......oh man....Trys to be so artistic?
I don't know how to explain but...ugh...

bacicaly makes Sota Fujimori, Y&Co and L.E.D. look like Malcolm X | Sure, I constantly think that his "feat. Paula Terry" songs fail, but the real problem is that it's pretty much him since the beginning of DDR. Don't blame the guy; blame the suits at Tokyo who intentionally understaffed the game in the past and also gave us that about him.
Going back on topic, screw meli*melo, on the grounds of Looks.

...In America!! | It's a force of habit, really. I used to write it the "normal" way, but then I did with the surname first and stuck to that style since. It's helpful when you're looking up data on Japanese people on the Internet....in America!
