Japan is a collectivist society and doesn't promote self-individuality, are you trying to peg individuals down by using their last names first? First off, it's the way I write on a review site: the head editor himself makes us all spell out Japanese people's names by their family names first. This trait, in return, has carried over to here. Hey, I can take it one step further and spell out Bemani artists' names in their original Japanese if it pisses you off so much. So how about that あさき, eh? And I sure do love me some ポップンミュージック, which I like to play on my プレイステーション2 very much. I guess all those sites from Konami where they have the artists listed by family name first and family name last are evil, too. Or should I just refer to everyone by their Bemani tags? Oh wow, that platonix guy is cool, as is Anettai-Maji Ska Bakudan. It's awkward and annoying to always use Bemani names, especially for artists who don't have a default name used for their songs commontly (such as wac and Tomosuke).
Second, it's fucking Japanese music composers. Artists like Tatsuya Furukawa and Osamu Kubota (happy now? I'm writing them the normal way) couldn't care less about what we're taking about. You're making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Lastly, someone with a IIDX DJ character for an avatar and naming himself after Gyo Eguchi's IIDX alias sure doesn't have the right to call me wapanese. You think I'm bad? Hang out at the pop'n music threads more.
I'm done here. I don't care if I even get an infraction and this thread gets locked. It'll be worth it.

As far as I know, if you write japanese in Kanji, then you should write in first name- last name form, like:
中村 康三
Nakamura Kozo
If as you see, if you played DM/GF before, Nakamura-san write his name in English, and it's Kozo Nakamura.
So, it's the same, and don't need to be so strict. ^^"

Kudos to you sir!
Anyways, back on topic..
Now that I think about Akira Yamaoka, the only song that really ticks me off is just iFuturelist. The rest of his songs are either boring, or pretty decent, especially his songs on GOLD.
I think it's sad that he's most known for his worst(IMO) composition..
After Akira Yamaoka, my second least favorite would be TaQ.
I wouldn't say any of his songs suck, it's just that he hasn't made anything too special for me..
Except Summer Vacation, which was with Taka anyways.. :P

Except Summer Vacation, which was with Taka anyways.. :P | You should try listening to his remix of Colors on Milestone and his mix of PARANOiA. They are both good, but Colors -InPhase Mix- is freakin epic. In other words, different from his normal style.
Anyways, if i had to pick one artist I didnt like it would probably be slake. It's pretty much a hit or miss with people. But I like only 3 songs from which he made. Scream Squad, Camomile Bathroom Remix (Awaawa Mix) though I thought he could have picked a better name for the mix and BRIGHTNESS DARKNESS, those 3 songs a very well composed and surprised me when I found out they were made by him, other than that, his songs don't really seem to have much....structure...and you can't really tell where the song is going. That's what I think anyways.
