Marketplace Rating: 2 | Are there any Dance ManiaX players left out there? I am pretty much obsessed with this game that seems to made a failure in Konami's big list of bemani.
But I think I am getting really good at this and I have nobody to give me any inspiration to get better. If people are out there, we need to keep some sort of support alive.
So does anybody even care about this since it is almost always overlooked?

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I finally played got the opportunity to play this the other day, and, uhh, it's really not as fun as it always looked, but freestyling was pretty hilariously awesome. I wouldn't mind having one around here, although the machine I was on (a 1st Mix) seemed to have, like, at the most 12 songs. XD Also, isn't there a doubles mode?, because I wanted to play that, and I couldn't figure out how to get to it. :p

Marketplace Rating: 0 | me and my exgirlfriend, whenever we hang around at this one arcade, play alot (at Nickel City, for you people in the midwest).
Were both really good, its such an easy game, but freestyling is totally a must. XD Sometimes, im feeling mean, and i give her a little nidge when shes playing, hahah.
anyways, best song is Heaven Is A '57 Metallic Gray. on "Heavy" (i forget the name of the harder set), there are tons of triple notes, where you hit 2 hands and kick your leg out to hit the other arrow. total fun.

DMX 2nd J-Append is some of the best fun I can have to cool down after "harder" Bemani. Plus, the create-a-course mode with Center/Doubles is always a crowd-pleaser.
True story: about a month ago two girls were playing courses on the machine, one of which was IR enabled. She started to ask me for a pen to write down her password at the end of the set, before I politely informed her that the IR had ended about three years prior.

You can really just go for broke, and let it all hang out. ...in a good way. Even though it's really old, it's still a hell of a lot of fun to play, probably because it doesn't take itself so seriously. Even though the main impression of dancing games these days involves perfectionists and high-stakes tournaments, it's nice to see there's at least one game around that's still about dancing.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I know this is old, but I ran a search... DMX is one of my favorite games, and I play competitively (on a small level, since only like two other people are willing to play competitively). I love the game because you can have a lot of fun with it, and freestyle, and play charts like Heaven Is A '57 Metallic Grey, or you can play for score... There's a perfect window, you just don't see it, but your score reflects it.
epic vids, if anyone out there plays YouTube - Dancemaniax - Talia vs Eric YouTube - Dancemaniax - Talia vs Allen (1st encounter) 12-8-07
...So yeah, I hope someone out there still plays! <3

Marketplace Rating: 26 | Bumpin'. Does anyone know the actual upgrade procedure for DMX? Is that game normally supposed to boot to Onboard memory or CD?
So if you switch the boot Dip (4) to OFF, meaning to CD, and swap out the upgrade mix disc and its security cart, shouldn't that install the upgrade?
And do you have to hold down the Test/Service buttons at any point?
