Id have to say DDR Extreme (JP) just for its MASSIVE songlist (110 songs)

And most of the songs are pretty damn good.

AC: Extreme, MAX2, 5th Mix, 4th Mix, 3rd Mix
CS: Extreme JP (da best JP PS2 release evar!), Konamix (one of the better US DDR releases), Party Collection, 3rd Mix (one of the best JP releases in PS1), 2nd ReMIX (damn, I miss the 2nd Mix-style interface

SuperNOVA 2 for me. I find the stepcharts there good (except NGOO, of course), and the songlist, for me, matches my taste. That also by far, is where my favorite boss songs come from.

Max2 is my favorite arcade mix for sentimental reasons. It was where I learned how to play, plus there are a lot of great songs on there that Extreme and SN are lacking.

5th mix is my favorite CS version. I haven't had the opportunity to play any of the PS2/Xbox versions for any length of time, but 5th mix is definitely the most solid release out of what I'm familiar with.

Supernova and Supernova 2.
(Although Max till Extreme are okay too.)
It's because those 2 made me want to play ddr again after many years of ignoring ddr due to my experience with 2nd mix and they are much more attractive compared to 1st - 5th.
