What side do you scratch in BeatMania IIDX?
Left, Right, or Either?
Although I've only played IIDX once (And I scratched right that time), I frequently play BeatMania... And in that game, I use center play, whose scratch is on the left side... | |

If you mean which side, 1P or 2P, I scratch on the left. If you mean which side of the turntable when scratching, then the right, as it's closer to the 1/2 keys which I hit with my left hand.

No, because when you're scratching, you really can't hit any other notes with that hand, with the exception of one note with your thumb, or maybe your index finger if you have huge hands. That means that 2 or 3 fingers will be doing nothing on your scratching hand, while your non-scratching hand will be using all five fingers on the buttons. Therefore, it's best for your dominant hand to be the non-scratching hand.

when i first started playing, i scratched on the right side, cuz i was so used to playing on the 2p side of any game, but now it's easier for me to scratch on the left side. | |
