Let me rephrase MY opinion in a way that will not hurt any sensitive egos. My top players list would be somewhat different, take it with a grain of salt if you like.

Damien. As far as the game of ITG goes, he has everything but the 12/13's mastered, and he's getting there.

AdmStyles one of the most consistently entertaining players in the world, and there's something to say for that. And his 100 quad stars on hard mode.

DukAmok. Those keyboard vids are insane, and his FA is no slouch on the main game either. I for one can report other very good players as living in fear of his 13-rating skills at tournaments.

Lil Q. The original groovestats-conquerer, and one of the best all-around players still.

Stewie. Aside from being the first person to quad a 10 (after DukAmok), he's also got the record on Vertex^2 by a fair margin, and is one of the best tournament players around.

Reboman, Jet, and Dyaus should all be recognized as very good players as well.

As I said man.. In making this thread I just went by skill as well as popularity.

Anyways. I hope no one is offended by this topic. I dont want to start any arguments or anything like that. As for that, I have a question for Damien: Are you offended if someone says that somone else is better then you?

What about the best Pump It Up player? In that case, it would definitely have to be Lee Chang (as far as I know). If you've seen some of the videos from the World Pump festival, you can tell he's really good. If he played ITG and DDR he'd probably be pretty skilled also.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. PIU may have very difficult stepcharts, but in terms of syncing (so not on it's ridiculous) and timing (the window is goatse huge), they'd have a lot of trouble switching to DDR or ITG, both of which are more onsync and have much tighter timing windows.

I agree, the timing window for PIU is a lot more lenient than DDR and ITG. Also, to get the S rank, don't you just have to full combo a song?

And his bar scores are RIDICULOUS.

From what I've seen I would say DukAmok is my favorite to watch, especially after seeing him Full Combo Air. He is my singles favorite.

Doubles, I think WinDEU is widely considered the best doubler. I haven't seen many very impressive doubles vids to compare though. I'll just leave it at that.

me... I cant play at my house really anymore, because I am so arcade adjust. Every time I play on a machine, I get the record on almost ever song I play. I dont care what you people say, but in my eyes I am the best, and just saying that makes me feel confident whenever I play.

ITG = Blake
DDR = Terrance

Blake right now is number 1 on Groovestats, beating out Lil Q by the SLIMMEST of margins. Not only was he the first to legitimately quad-star a 12 (Vertex), but he's quad-starred 2 (Delirium). I've seen him get about halfway on Bloodrush expert (invisible), and he has a plethora of quads on 10's and below. Everything else (except Euphoria and Vertex^2) has been tri-starred. Best ITG player, hands down.

Terrance aka TFAD has AAA'd not only an entire Extreme machine on EVERY difficulty, but he's done the same thing for MAX and MAX2. His oni course scores are amazing, and he has his name on probably 30% the DDR machines in So Cal. A personal friend of mine and one of the nicest, modest guys I know. Not to mention, he's pretty good at freestyling. Best DDR player, no doubt.
