If so, what kind would you like to see?

I always find myself tapping my hands on my kneecaps and tapping my feet on the floor while I sit. Maybe an "appendage-mania" arcade game with four foot buttons, a seat, and four pop'n-ish hand buttons would be fun. It'd be pretty goofy, but I'd like to play it. | |

I didn't know what to choose, and since I also don't have any specific new Bemani wants in mind, I voted "No." I'd rather see sequels of the "dead" Bemani games instead. | |

Now that I think about it, I really want a Trumpet[any brass instrument] freaks...
Only problem is that of hygiene...
I ain't sticking my mouth in a public arcade machine... @_@

Personally, I voted NO, on the grounds I wanted to see Keyboardmania revived, while importing Kakumei and Timepiece phase II from DDR & GFdm, respectively.

Voted no. I think staying focused on what they have going already is good enough. Maybe it's time to bump IIDX to 9 Key? I'd play it...

I would like a good new Bemani game (as in not Dance 86.4), that's for sure. But other than a IIDX to any of the games currently out (especially Guitar Freaks), or Keyboardmania teaches Piano, I can't really think of one.

If Bemani introduced more games, then they wouldn't have as much time to maintain the ones they already have (mostly DDR from my perspective since it's by far my favorite, but there's still plenty of IIDX, Pop'n, and GFDM fans out there as well), so it's a definite no to me.

A new Bemani = NO at the moment
Reviving a dead Bemani = definitely YES!
Like ryuk1 said, it would give justice to Keyboard Mania if it will get revived again by Konami (especially, along with its revival, the Multi Session Mode with GF/DM). If only for its learning curve, Konami might have given it a shot reviving it. The same goes to games like Mambo A Go Go.

A new bemani game would be neat, but only if they have time to do it. Then again, what they have is already pretty much the best ideas for something thats easy to pick up and fun to keep with. I doubt they could come up with anything else that would be so good, so.......I guess no. They already tried all the possible options, and they all failed, and these 4 we have are still going.
