what do you mean how "in motion" has the same genre as "click again"? the difference is click again is horrible and in motion is brilliant. also I didn't see a "HANDZ UP" song on DistorteD or a Progressive House/Buchiage Trance song on HAPPY SKY, HOW ABOUT THAT

I dunno why you hate on Starmine so much. It's better than Be Quiet (though you probably love that awful song and think it's one of RED's best).
starmine is boring and uninspired (the chart and the repetition of it on multiple styles is annoying too but I can't blame ryu for that), comparing it to any other Ryu song really shows it's age. except in the sky which is basically the same thing but longer. ever heard Shining Stars (Ryu*&MC Natsack Remix)? that's what starmine would be like if it were good.
be quiet is aggressive and energetic. of course it's one of RED's best. at first I thought it was the same synths over and over with a few samples thrown in but when I actually listened to it it has some very dynamic buildups and breakdowns. it's reminiscent of bad boy bass's (one of the best songs on BMUS) style but with a harder attitude. genocide, scorpion fire and blocks are superior. come to think of it RED produced some pretty good "club" tracks. on the tube and gigadelic are what I'm thinking of.

So Fabulous!! and Second Heaven sound similar in certain parts, even though they're not the same genre.

That's funny. I thought On the Tube was one of the "trash" songs from RED that were cut out from Gold, as you mentioned in a different thread.

And for every good club song in RED there was an bad, non-club song to go with it (D.A.N.C.E.!, Raspberry Heart, etc.). Gigadelic is still great, though (I like ay carumba!! more, though).

both are rooted in trance and hard dance so that's understandable. one thing a large number of ryu* songs share is the same synth being used for the melody. harmony & lovely, setsugekka, so fabulous, waxing and wanding, second heaven, and rainbow rainbow all have it but they still manage to be unique songs.

nah, on the tube, kecak and texture are good songs. they should have cut something like KI SE KI, ULTIMATE or Don't be afraid Myself instead, but apparently BeForU, Terra and Tatshcore songs have special protection over at Konami I wouldn't miss Raspberry Heart either, that song got old after the novelty of that fruity video faded out. D.A.N.C.E. is really good though, one of the only Konoko Hoshino songs that I enjoy. by the way, I don't expect RED to be a "club" style, just as I don't expect HAPPY SKY to be an upbeat pop oriented style or DistorteD to be a dissonant hardcore style (although I'd have loved that) Konami's labels never mean anything, which is why GOLD was a good theme. the most people presumed about that would be "Perhaps this will feature a lot of medieval choir songs like Xepher? " thank god it wasn't, although the apparent lack of Zenius -II- is too bad
