10/28/07 Aladdin's Castle Maplewood

To celebrate finally getting DDR Supernova over at the castle, we're running a small/medium DDR tournament. The first in over 3 years at Maplewood. Anyway, here's rules:

Aladdin's Castle
Maplewood Mall Ctr
Maplewood, MN 55109

$5+(2) entry fee ($7 total entry fee; $5 goes into pot)
3 Song Format
Coin Flip decides 1st/3rd Song or 2nd Song + Side
Player who doesn't pick song for each round picks speed mod
Reverse, Boost, Color, etc DOES NOT apply for both players. Only speed mod.
Double Elimination
Maximum of 32 players unless demand is very high pre-tournament.
Prize format in CASH in form of 60%/30%/10% of $5 pot total.
1st Round 7/8 Footer
2nd Round 7/8/9 Footer
3rd Round 8/9 Footer
4th Round 9 Footer
5th+ Round 9/10 Footer

Time: We'll begin taking entries at 11:00 am (the time we open). Registration closes at 12:00 pm or once we reach the maximum amount allowed. Tournament will start somewhere around 12:10ish.

It might help if you tell what state it is, maybe give an address.

Maplewood's a city in Minnesota. I used to go there pretty frequently for DDR tournaments back in the day.

And yeah, AC, you might want to post where and when this is. These boards aren't just for Minnesotans like BemaniMN was. ^_^;

a lot of people from quite a few different states are coming to this one. it's going to be a little bigger and probably more chill than this maplewood one. msg me on AIM or msn to let me know if you plan on coming.
