Default hosting a ddr tournament

I have a question: is it weird to host a ddr tournament at your house? My parents aren't to fond of the idea but i really think i could make some money and have a good time. What do you people think out there???

1. If your parents say no, then hold it somewhere else.
2. Don't run tournaments to make money.
3. Try to convince your parents to let you run it in the garage.
4. No, it's not really weird. It's probably actually better to do it there instead of an arcade because you have greater control over the machine.

Off-topic, but to make your text a different colour highlight the whole thing and then choose the color.

I've run DDR tournaments at my house, but it was generally only people from my school and not random BMS people so I don't know how that would go.

And are you bumping your own thread on different accounts?

Answers
1)if parents say no, compromise on a new place. Maybe in a garage or the basement?
2)No it isn't weird. It's totally fun!
3)money is no object here. Relinquish the fact of admission price and you'll have a great time
