There is going to be a tournament on In The Groove 2, Sunday March, 30 (3-30) starting at 12 P.M. at Tilt inside the Fort Henry Mall
The tournament will be hosted by I, Daniel (DwP.BANG).
The tournament name is KPT02
This will be an open tournament for anyone who wants to join.
So first thing is first, entry fee will be $10.00 and this will cover the all of the games played for the event. Also if you would like to donate anymore money to throw in the pot it is definatly welcome.
If you would like to go ahead and pay your entry fee that is fine just make it to me,
Daniel I’m usually the every night. Note there will be no refunds of the money after you have payed.
There are NO exceptions to this rule.
There will be a qualifier for seeding in the tournament. The qualifying song will be announced the day of the tournament. Entry Fee MUST be payed at or before you qualify. The main reason for the qualifier is so that the best person doesn’t go against the worst person first match. As you see this is fairer this way. Records of who has payed will be kept written and electronically.
Rules:
The First Round will be any song with a difficulty 10 and under on hard or expert, 11 blocks and upon agreement of both players.
Second Round will open up all levels except for 13's on hard or expert, 13 blocks upon agreement of both players.
Third and all remaining rounds all songs are open on hard or expert.
Only custom songs from the KPT02 song pack will be allowed for customs,
I will edit this post in a couple of days with the song pack
If you pick a song and fail it you will lose that match to the other person no matter what, even if they failed first
Bar will be allowed at all times.
The side that a player gets will be determined by a flip of a coin. The higher seeded player calls in the air. The winner of the coin toss gets to choose side or song.
The player who doesn’t win the coin toss will get whatever the winner didn’t choose.
The winner of the round is determined by percentage best 2 out of 3 matches.
If the 3rd song is needed it will be determined by chance on expert. If both players fail the higher percentage will win.
The tournament will be a double elimination (this means you can lose once and still be in it)
You may pick a song only once during the tournament this means for example picking
Tribal Style round 1 and then round 3 picking it again this is a no-no.
In the unlikely event you have a pad miss or pad mine you will have .06% added to your percentage, a pad decent .04% and a pad great.02% . A maximum of 3 (.18%) pad errors will be allowed per game unless of very clear reasons, (I.E.) arrow breaking, stuck arrow, etc.
Whatever is left of the money after the games will be split up 75% for first 20% for second and 5% for third. Additional prizes may be awarded if sponsors approve.
There will be external speakers hooked up to the machine for really good sound.
