Rules etc. (read before making a thread) There used to be these really cool rules all formatted and stuff but they disappeared. Here are the ground rules: - Start a thread about a tournament only if you can answer all questions regarding the tournament.
- In the title of the tournament thread, State the NAME of the event, the location (City, State), and the date. The formatting is your choice, but keep it organized. "MMEX - Columbus, OH 7/22/06" is a perfect example.
- Put useful information inside your thread! Things like format, type of event, divisions, games being played, special instructions, etc. Put information that people need to know about your event or tournament.
- Your post should include an address and directions to the event! Yahoo! or Google maps are your friend.
- You can pm me at anytime if you want your thread closed.
- I will not close any threads until someone pm's me and sends a request. There may be exceptions, for obvious reasons.
- If you want your event or tournament to be "local only", post in your region board and not here.
- Just use common sense.
I AM MORE THAN WILLING TO STICKY YOUR EVENT OR TOURNAMENT POST. If you want a sticky, send me a pm and I will do so asap so long as the information about your event is sufficient.
When the date passes I will unsticky your thread. Of course, you can pm me whenever you wish if you want your thread unstickied or closed. I highly recommend you pm me for a sticky. Then, people can tell the difference between upcoming events and events in the past.
That's about it...just don't be dumb about stuff. Remember, you are representing the location that is running and the staff working for the event. If you act clueless or stupid it implies alot about the location and of the staff.
