I'm not sure what's so funny about that... QQ is a very popular Chinese chatting service (YEARS it's been used... YEARS - honestly, if I didn't have any Chinese friends, I would have no idea what QQ is now).
As for the article, I'm assuming it's relating to the 'ugly girlfriend' article that's been in the media for the past 2 weeks or so. Yeah... killing yourself over an Internet relationship is bad... but imagine how the woman feels - she's so damn ugly that guys really do kill themselves rather than go out with her. Great confidence boost there!
