Marketplace Rating: 0 | 6 Flags I went to Great America (Gurnee Illinois) yesterday, and I must say, Batman the Ride, and the Great American Eagle are awesome! It is an awesome place to spend the day at. They also have 4 or 5 DDR machines. (2 max2 and 2 extreme for sure) but honestly.. who goes to 6 flags for DDR? you go for the roller coasters! Be sure to show up early to be able to ride the big coasters (V2, Dejavu, Batman, Superman, etc) before the huge lines!

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I go to Six Flags Darien Lake every once in a while with a few friends of mine. What's really cool, though, is that we're all in this choral group that goes once during the school year to compete at a music festival that is held there, and then we have the rest of the day in the park. So basically we get to skip school to go to the park when there's no one there except other music groups.
I hate Superman, though. It's always the longest line in the park, and it's sooooooo boring and anticlimactic. It's really basically just one drop. Lame. They also have a DDR cab there, I think it's a Megamix (lawls). I duno; my time in that arcade is usually spent playing their perfect condition, fully functional Mazen: Flash of the Blade machine.

LOOOOVE it but Nitro really spoils you from liking any other coasters. I personally think Batman is a piece of crap for the time you wait for it.
And any Kingda Ka riders, is it worth it?! I'd love to fall down from that skyscraper.

Not very appealing for something of that size but I'm still up for it, given that it's open of course.

About kingda ka, i wouldnt know if it's worth the six hour wait [i suggest getting there before the park opens], but it is definitely worth riding at least once [the drop isnt too bad, just accelerating forward is coma-inducingly intense].

6 hours.. damn! When i left last night (At quarter till closing time) There was a three and a half hour wait for the De Javu! (I didn't want to do it cus i was feeling kinda sick.. so.. yeah.. XP I reccommend to get a flash pass (If you have them) Which you can use to get on the ride from the back of the line, passing the entire wait (It pisses other people off beyond belief though..) I had a similar-type thing, a backwards pass for mentally/physically challenged people, so it was pretty cool.
and.. sldk? was your batman ride called "Batman the Ride"? Or something else? cus batman the ride is flipping awesome (Literally! ) And i know there are at least 2 other batman-themed rides in other 6 flags parks. and more than one superman...
OH! I meant to ask, does anyone have the waterslide/rollercoaster thing called The tornado? It is soo much fun.. but i think it is exclusive to Great America...

(Viper and Eagle are both wooden, with the latter being the oldest coaster in the park.)
And i can give stats on De Javu.
Highest Drop: 167 Feet
Fastest Speed: 65+ miles per hour
Trains: 1
Cars: 8
Passengers Per Car: 4
Average Ride Time: between 30-50 seconds (If my watch was working correctly)
Times Flipped Upside-down: 6 (3 first loop, 3 second loop)

(It isn't completely finished in this picture, they are missing some decorative features, the station, the que line, and some maintenence platforms/ladders)

Marketplace Rating: 0 | No I'm Not Token Whoring You start by going backwards on the pillar to the left, than are dropped, reaching the maximum velocity speed for the first time, than you speed back through the station, and up the odd-looking loop, than down the other side, through the normal loop and up the other pillar. (All facing forewards)
Than you are lifted up the second pillar a little bit, and are dropped again, reaching maximum velocity for the second time, this time going through the normal loop first, than up the odd loop, than down the other side, speed through the station again (This time, all backwards)
And finally up the first pillar again, where you are caught by a mechanical device to slow you down, than slowly take you back to the station.
Its a blast, and kind of creepy when being flung backwards.. Its especially creepy at night when it looks like you are about to go flying into nothing!

Marketplace Rating: 6 | Tornado? You mean that water ride? It's here in the St. Louis 6 flags. It's like, the only ride worth riding in the water park.
Bah, St. Louis 6 flags wasn't that great. The Mr. Freeze was closed the whole year, which really, REALLY sucked. Because, the only other two rides worth riding are the Boss (which has gotten really, really bumpy over the years) and the Batman. Man, I'd like to try some other roller coasters for once. And the Superman thing doesn't really appeal to me... Anyone know what it's really like?
STL Six Flags has a DDRMAX2. Occasionally I see other pretty good people there (high school people who play on heavy). Once I saw a guy and his girlfriend playing (not at the same time). The guy failed Max 300 on his final stage (because the pad NG'd his Freeze). His girlfriend wasn't bad (low-medium 9s).
