Another cell phone thread (oh joy...)

I'm going to ask for a cell phone again this year, but be a bit more specific and actually give hints that I really want it. I'm really clueless as to cell phones and stuff, so what carriers are good (we currently have verizon), what models are good, would it be worth it to get an unlocked phone, etc...

Please don't get into the voda phones or whatever they were called. As much as I want one, I really doubt I'll get it

I've been always a T-Mobile fan. Calling other T-Mobile users for free is amazing as well as their service. Unlocked phones are good if you do buy a phone overseas, such as China, Japan, and even Germany. Yes, Germany has some pimp phones. Look into phone models on the carriers web sites.

I have Verizon too, but I just have one of the basic phones that you can get for cheap. It's a nice phone though and it suits my needs. It doesn't play music or anything like that though.
