A friend of mine used to work for Cingular until hurricane Katrina hit and he couldn't get a job relocation. He had some fun at Cingular with the QA requirements, he has to read all his queues, so every time he got interrupted he would start over his queue until the customer finally let him finish. When he told me all his job stories like an old granny not being able to find the End Call/Power button on the phone and a redneck who forgot to put the battery in his phone when that was the first troubleshooting step that they went through, I lol'd.

I use Trillian at home, but I have miniaim on my usb drive to own anywhere. But watch out, miniaim uses TOC2, which, in my experience, has sucked hard over wireless networks, dropping packets like mad.

I was on AOL yesterday at my dad's office, and I realized how much I appreciate DSL, even though my connection sucks. I was posting on BMS and maaaaaan did it suck.

they kept asking why im cancelling it and if i had cable
when i said Yes that I had cable the lady kept insisting that i run AOL and Cable together saying that internet would run faster :-/

all in all AOL customer service people are dicks and its their jobs to nag and annoy you to stay with AOL
