It sounds like a good idea, I think it' s a good way to get the good players closer to the people who are still learning how to play. You could look at Denjin Video - Your #1 Source For Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and Capcom vs. SNK 2 Videos! for references

That would be awesome for those of us not as well versed in IIDX/pop'n/other bemani games. That would be interesting to do.

I'm up to providing bemani artist news and whatnot if you're interested in that sort of thing. Mind you, that would have to be an audio only section.

Keith and I talked about it today, and we're all for it but we have some other things we want to get taken care of before we go full force with it. That being said, we're accepting ideas, and we will be looking for a staff to handle it for us in the near future.

I'm glad to help in anyway I can as well. My idea about a small audio section on the happenings of the various bemani artists (maybe throw a few songs in there) still stands. And mind you, I can't do tatsujin videos.

Depending on how much you're willing to host, I can give a lot of incite, as I'm a podcast whore. I can also host parts over skype, unless rmz got involved.
Shit, the PVRMZ Podcast Hour... that would make me trip balls.

I know 2-3:00 podcasts get watched, but never really leave an impact.

I think the shows should shoot for 2-3:00 clips filling in the gaps between the 30-40:00 show. I think that would be successful.

I think the idea of a weekly half hour news podcast with occasional video specials would be a good idea, though you might want to think of making it biweekly so you can have time to come up with a little more content per show. Even though the bemani scene is coming along fairly quickly, there are slow periods.

Yeah, I came into the thread just to say the same thing. I don't think there will be enough development on the most part for a show to happen every week. Maybe when a major release is gearing up and a lot of information is coming out at once (launch of a new AC / CS game, perhaps) that you can ramp it up to once a week.
