What started as a joke between me and a friend led to me finding this on youtube: YouTube - Christian Rave YouTube - Tronster performing at Alpha Omega Christian Rave
Its funny how as long as you make it clear that your intention is to praise God, even an apparently drug infested free-spirited event can become good ol'fashioned conservative Christian fun.
What is the difference between this and a regular rave? Minus the occasional bible line or praise, nothing I can see.
Why not go to a regular rave and just not take drugs? Last time I checked, they aren't injecting cocaine into your system at the door.
Its kinda sad how it seems some Christians are trying their best to be more free spirited, more open minded people, but they still need to attach something ridiculous like "Christian Rave" to do it.
Did anyone else know this existed?

I know we've discussed things like this before, but it still strikes me as ridiculous. They can't just do SOMETHING, ANYTHING normal without it having to be Christian.
I wonder if they're allowed to eat, breathe, take a shit, wash dishes without sending praise to the oh holy Lord himself. It's not enough to just have Him in their hearts per se, but the fact that they have to actively attach it to everything they do, like...raves!? is beyond me.
I guess I have to be a hardcore Christian to understand.
