Circuit City was crappy because of its service. They fucked up my RAM ):< (which is another story)
not to mention rediculously overpriced...my friend's uncle had their firedog service look at his computer (he doesn't have enough IT knowledge to do it himself) and they said his HDD was bad. So he chose a 500 HDD and a gig of RAM and asked them how much it would be for them to install them both. It came up to about 360 bucks. The HDD was about 175 and the RAM was about 75. That means that they wanted 110 bucks to do it. So I told him in front of them that it was ridiculous to charge that much for something I would do for free.
So I did...and he gave me 60 bucks.
And I used the money to buy Happy Sky from the marketplace and a couple pitchers of Dead Guy Ale on karaoke night :P

I get that kind of scratch telling people I remove spyware and install hardware for a nominal fee. To date I've made something like $400 doing things I find embarrassingly straightforward.

It's 'Firedog'. For fixes and upgrades you'll need to head to another location of course. Either that or learn how to troubleshoot/fix & upgrade yourself with the help of Internet tutorials or something.
My friend found an 8gb SD memory stick for only $40.
I never went to the Circuit City where I live, and I barely went to Best Buy. (except for my b-day present one years ) I normally just go to Walmart or something...but then again, I don't ned much from neither place.
And one question....
WHY THE HELL DOES CIRCUIT CITY PUT THEIR STORE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE STREET OF BEST BUY? The only thing separating them is the merge to the interstate.

I got a 4gb Sandisk Cruzer Micro flash drive for $10.00! BTW The CC near my place always seemed to have better prices then BB! Maybe it's all in the locations that makes the prices higher and lower!
