This chick basically masturbates to the Columbine shooters. She has videos of all of Eric's journal entries and even celebrated their birthdays at one point.

I dont understand how someone can worship people who fucking shot a retarded kid in the face when he didnt even know what was going on. Its fucking ridiculous. Whats worse, I see freaking 12 year olds comment on this girl's videos and because of her showing them as heroes, they think its just great that these kids shot up and killed so many people, saying that "Oh, they deserved it! Those fucking bullies!". What kind of message is this to people?!

Yes, I read the journals. I actually know a lot about the Columbine shootings. I agree with a lot of points that Eric made, but it still doesnt change the fact that hes a cold murderer and to top it all off, a hypocrit.

I've tried to spread the word on the girl's videos of how full of shit she is and all she does is leave comments that a 12 year old would leave, like this little gem she left in response to when I asked her if someone can be a hero when they shot defenseless people:

Eh, the problem is with a lot of people going into a debate like this, they tend to hold a polar opposite opinion of those they're going into a debate with.

For the Columbine kids, I can understand calling them "heroes" in the idea of someone who died attempting to prove a greater point, or even a tragic hero in that they died in a fashion that inadvertantly brought about change or at least showed a greater problem to their society.

The problem lies in idolizing them and what they did, and remembering the act itself rather than its significance in society, then taking it to the extreme where you find them to be faultless.

So I'm really curious as to what her exact position is on this, and why she finds it necessary to be so adamant about it.

The fact Dylan and Eric had miserable lives and were bullied only gives us a reason why they did what they did. The fact they took action to prove a greater point only shows they are true to their principles. None of those however justifies anything being right. Of course we could go into the discussion that right or wrong is only a battle between different frames of references, but opening fire on unarmed civilians sure doesn't strike me as "right."

As far as the girl on the website, shes probably had just a miserable lives and turns to people she can relate to for relief.

I wouldn't count on anything civil out of her. She seems delusional and just wants to believe what she wants to believe. Columbine shooting is only special because it happened in America with the media coverage. In Africa there are thousands of child soldiers, 8 year olds with AK 47s who support the anti government genocide, shoot unarmed civilians as well as soldiers. If she really thought it through on being an anti government I'd think that would have been something she looked into.

Miserable lives? I doubt that. They played video games like most of us here. They fell in and out of love like most of us here. They were subject to bullying which Im sure a lot of us (pft bemanistyle) were involved with.

Actually I could argue quite the contrary. According to the wee bit of research I did earlier in the night, Eric suffered from an emotional disorder and was taking anti-depressants to deal with it. Based on this, it could be very well argued that Eric had more emotional baggage on his train than he could carry, as what are the normal downs of life weighed in considerably heavier on him than other 'normal' people.

Now before anyone brings up the Video Games + Kids = Shootings argument, I was part of the Doom Community prior to the event, these kids were fucked up to begin with. Video Games did nothing their real lives hadn't already covered 7 times better when they shot up the school.

Video games don't make people violent. Being a fuck up makes you violent.
