Is it a good idea to laminate your posters?
What I like about lamination is that you can do anything to those posters and nothing will happen. No more worrying about rips, no more worrying about taping the poster to the wall, etc. But at the same time, I'm a little worried that now that the poster is laminated, that the value has dropped since you can't undo it anymore.
What do you people thing? I have a distorted poster here and a couple more posters in the mail coming in, and I'm undecided on whether I should laminate them as well.

Larger posters, like the Secret Live 2 poster I have, required a custom frame, which ran me $200.

Like what everyone else is saying, framing is your best bet if you want to keep it secure, plus it looks better. For the AC sized Bemani posters, kimcicle is right, they're up there in the hundred dollar range.

AC posters HAVE to be custom framed unless you're REALLY FUCKING LUCKY and just happen to have a Hobby Lobby nearby that carries the large scaled frames.
Custom frames will be expensive no matter what. They'll definitely run at least $100 if not more.

my IIDX AC frames are going to run me about $65-70 each from American Frame. If I was going to have them shipped to me, I'd be paying almost three times that, due to 'oversize' shipping fees.

Something like a band poster can be purchased whenever and I probably wouldn't even go through the effort of laminating it and would probably just tack it up, but laminating doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I'm assuming the Bemani posters are bigger though.
