I'd say a regime change followed by violent uprising is a substantial change for the people as a whole but I guess you have different standards v

It's not a lynching. A lynching is not organized, not for a specific reason (normally), and is usually done as the result of mob action.

The proper term is "death by hanging", which is only abandoned in US law because it seems cruel to the person being punished, as many things can go wrong and prolong the painful time before execution and death. In many other countries however it is still a standard practice to use hanging as a means of legal execution.

He was supposed to hang today between 5:30 and 6:00am Iraqi time, which is 9:30 to 10pm EST. Which means that if he hasn't been hanged yet, there's about 3 minutes for it to happen.
