Reading the article, it states that Fox loses no revenue for them 'pulling out' because they basically shifted their advertising to other programs on the Fox network. Beck won't be pulled and neither will any conservative-based talk radio. There have been talks of censorship for that side for a long time; it'll never happen. Same for the reason of ever seeing people like Ed Schultz and liberal talk ever being pulled.

Shifted the adverts? Eh, I must have missed that. Since Glenn Beck is a part of Fox News, too, that means that he's still part of a money-making program (as opposed to if he was just some stand-alone guy). It still can't be a good sign for Fox if advertisers pull their support of the program, but unless everyone does, yeah, you may be right about the network not doing anything. Except, you know, maybe force an issued apology.

But my issues with Beck aren't even that he's a conservative. The man is simply incapable of forming a coherent argument. Attempting to intimidate and insult people who disagree with you does not do anything to prove your point, but this is still the Glenn Beck method. If you're going to fall back on ad hominem attacks, at least make them amusing (a la John Stewart). Angrily calling someone a "little pinhead" does nothing except demonstrate an inability to rationally discuss something.

I don't feel Beck should be taken off because he's a hard conservative; he should be taken off because he's a blemish to the journalistic integrity (or whatever passes for it) of his employers.

Fox News has journalistic integrity? Last I checked, Geraldo Rivera was still cast there.

Anymore, I can't really listen to strictly one side of the story from any given form of media or politics in any given form because it's either biased stupidly or bought out. All I can really hope for is to 'get information from both sides of the argument' and attempt to deduce what may or may not be right out of anything shown.

To say I'm either conservative or liberal would be dumb anyways, it's only how I feel about any given issues. Not a moderate, those don't exist in issues, because then I would have to say 'I don't care about anything' when I do have something out of my pay check going somewhere at the end of a day that somewhat interests me when it could be in my wallet instead. Whether I'm one side or the other depends on that.

I'd say keep him on there just because. It's about the same reason as people never wanting Joe Biden to shut up - because he just oozes gaffes and it makes one side look all the worse. In theory, you never want someone that's making one side look like complete shit to shut up; you want them to dig their grave and that others will realize that.
