A running prank in my high school was to trick freshmen into waiting in front of a servicce door, pretending that it was an elevator that would lead to the higher floors.

One time, we were able to trick a few freshmen into waiting 15 minutes for the "elevator" casuing them to miss their next class. It wasn't until te principal spotted them and asked what they were waiting for did they realize that they were being tricked.

Probably the best prank that got pulled was when around christmas time, a group of my friends insisted on getting one of the english teachers a live christmas tree for their classroom. He insisted otherwise since he didn't want the mess to deal with and it seemed like a harmless verbal gag. That was until one day when I went to school and found a nice trail of pine needles that led from the door to his classroom. Our class goes inside with him and sure enough, in the middle of his classroom was a freshly cut pine tree from the school's lot right in the middle of the classroom floor. Needless to say, he wasn't too happy about it and neither was the school administration for having their beautiful line of pine trees ruined. But hey, at least the room smelled nice for a change.

Hahaha, I sent so many kids to the second floor cafeteria this year. XD
