Marketplace Rating: 3 | Gmail no longer requires invites I don't know how long it has been this way but I just noticed today that Gmail no longer requires an invite to sign up. www.gmail.com
I thought the invite system was a little ridiculous anyway =p
*figured this was more of a general topic that computers/technology but it can be moved if mods of this section see fit*

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Were the invites sent from other users, or were they sent from Gmail itself? I use Windows Live Hotmail Beta at the moment anyway.
It's funny, cause in the amount of time it took for Microsoft to release Windows Live Hotmail beta and now, they have released two beta releases and a final release of Windows Media Player 11.
