House in surprise move passes severe new internet law | Voices Online

If passed by the Senate, Wi-Fi users will have to act as the "Internet Police" and are called to report CP and hentai (or hentai involving those who look under the age of 18) or face a $150000 the first offense and than $300000 for future offenses.

Oddly enough, it does not prohibit you to send someone something like "Fuck This Face, Then Your Butt" or other types of porn.

Maybe its just my lack of computer knowledge but I don't know how I can see what sites people go to using my wireless router. My router doesn't log websites people go to, much less find out what stuff people are downloading.

My wireless is encrypted but a competent hacker probably could break my wireless in as little as 30 seconds.

I got a wireless router with a WEP key on but I live right next to some old people and on the other side my friend who doesn't even own a computer.

I think I'm safe.

Also, I can only check and see if people are using my internet, not what exactly they are using it for.

You aren't safe unless you have WPA, MAC authentication, DHCP turned off and a bunch of other tedious security measures in place. Also, I think the most I have in monitoring capabilities in my router are a global bandwidth monitor and a port event log.

From what I've read both forms are punishable. I can understand why your so-called "loli" would be grounds for action, but animated pornography in general? If you think over it for a few seconds you'll realize that's flat-out stupid.
