Is there any sort of "television" programming available online somewhere aside from mainstream stations showing mainstream shows on their native website (i.e. 24 on FOX, Grey's Anatomy on ABC)? Is there something out there that's compatible with a Wii? Is there a continuously-updated list for shows that are uploaded on YouTube or YouTube-styled websites?
I keep seeing links to Joost getting kicked around...it sounds like some kind of internet-based television service, for free, which from the sound of it is exactly what you're looking for. I don't know much on it myself, but I'm sure someone else here does.

Theres ShoutcastTV on Winamp.com theres usually familyguy streams and a few movie streams as well. Some erotic (not porn) streams there too thats about it.

Joost is horrible. The quality of the actual video is shit compared to other standalone programs (GomTV, TVUPlayer, etc), and the content makes me gag.

I unplugged the set-top box in my room for a satellite service we have here with DirecTV. In other words, I've given up on TV and now I want to choke a bitch (read: TV).
