Nick. 18. Male. Introduced to DDR first, then into beatmaniaIIDX. Liked the idea, but was horrible. Later on decided to buy the game. Got very good from beatmania IIDX 6th style -new songs collection-. Hooked since. Obtained many other music-rhythm games, not just in bemani, like Amplitude, Technic Beat, and Guitar Hero, for example. Only bemani games interested in are beatmaniaIIDX and DDR. Played pop'n music (home version with a DA controller) one time.

Enjoy video games, including, but not limited to, BEMANI, and Mortal Kombat.

Short bio on gamelife. That, and I don't do introductions.

Name is Juan. I am a hispanic cybernetic organism trained in martial arts and various knitting techniques. By day I fight crime and by night I fight drowsyness. I often wonder if the dishes will one day take over my apartment and kill me for my dishwashing failures.

Don't believe any of the above except my name. I have lurked the forums for 3 years and have played various bemani games since 2002. I have too many novels and video games, become super energetic when socializing, and for some strange reason am obsessed (vain actually) with my hair.

Oh, I am also pushing 20.

Name: Abe Navarro

Alias: Skyline, SKL on bemanistyle 6.0.

I live in Reno, NV, and currently work as a production assembler for International Game Technologies, Inc. Moved here from Las Vegas in August of 2005, for a very long-overdue change of pace.

Got introduced to Bemani with DDR Extreme by my friend Joey (Juno from Bahamut Forever) back in March of 2003. I had played USA and MAX2 a few times previously and didn't really think much of it, as I was more biased towards arcade fighters and shoot-em-ups. Eventually I started continuing to play and improve. Still at difficulty level 7-8 (7 for ITG) mostly due to not playing all that frequently nowadays. Coincidentally, I'm now part of a small group of people who maintain a Stepmania arcade conversion around town.

Also got introduced to 5-key by way of beatmania CORE REMIX around that same time. Got into COMPLETE MIX 2, learned to play that on Center Mode, one handed, which in retrospect wasn't exactly the greatest approach to the game. Started playing IIDX about 5 months or so before 8th Style CS was released. Got into pop'n music around that same time, started playing that shortly after purchasing Ransai's Kagura ASC when they were first introduced. Never did get into GF/DM, although I plan to do so whenever a machine becomes easily accessible.

I dabble somewhat in DDR simfile creation and electronic music production (mainly drum&bass, minimal techno, breakcore, and ambient), although due to either procrastination, overperfectionism, or lack of adequate resources, it's very rare that any projects get done. Of course, it doesn't help that I spend quite a bit of my free time futzing around on the internet and IRC, being an overall douchebag. :B

I did have a small number of completed audio projects that I didn't think of backing up or posting on the internet, and was lost in a system crash quite a ways back. Would really like to get into mixing vinyl and using more professional music hardware whenever the funds become available.

Oh yeah, and I love cats. :3

I first got into BEMANI in January 2004 with DDR. I shunned PIU for a while until June 2005 when I got to actually play it. I have played beatmania a few times in the acrades down the shore and a few towns from where I live. I own DDR, PIU, ITG, Guitar hero, Amplitude, Parappa, and got IIDX for Christmas in 2005.

I am personally 17 and just finished 10th grade with honors. My usual activities include sitting on my ass all day and tell people crap like this on the internet which only 5 people will read. y all day, do not mean just 5 to 6 hours, I actually mean all day. I'm one for 10 hours some days. If I am not on the computer, I will sit on my ass and play IIDX instead or sleep. Without my glasses, if I have to look at or read something from 6 feet away, I'm fucking screwed unless it's written to be half the size of my head. I also go on Gaia (yeah, you read it. It's not a typo). I said I was one for several hours. Bemanistyle and 2 other forums which I post on twice a day at most isn't going to keep my attention. I would get up and get off the computer, but I'm a lazy bastard.

Misc: I started playing DDR back in June of 03. ITG came into my life not to long after it was released, maybe a month or two. I picked up IIDX in 04 and just got serious about it this year. I've played PIU, DM, and GF sporadically over the last 3 years.

Anyway, call me Emerald Osprey, cause I'm not giving out my real name. I've been in to Bemani for about three years now. I start with DDR, which is still my favorite, despite the fact I still have trouble with 9's and can't pass any 10's. >_< About a year ago, jammitch! got me into IIDX, and while I'm still not that good at it, it's doubleplus fun. Lastly, though it's not quite Bemani, I also have a deep love of Technic Beat.

jammitch! told me about Bemanistyle around the time I got into IIDX, and I've mostly been a lurker since then. That's right I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU! BWA HA HA! Now that 7.0 is out, I thought it was about time I made myself known. I'm decently good at art-type things, so currently I'm working on a Stepmania theme and doing some of the backgrounds for virtualVISIONS.

Also, incase you were wondering, I am in fact a female. Shocking, I know. :P

Sorry if I haven't posted this in January when I first registered during 6.0, but after the rebuilding time, I'll be happy to do this.

My full name is Richard Scott Cosentino Jr. I use my profile name Dark Coz in many games, but despite that name, I'm a really nice guy. I started playing DDR after 2005 Graduation in Charlotte High School. If it wasn't for the help of Mrs. Berger, Coach Mike Metcalf, and Mrs. Hunter (who was formerly from Charlotte Harbor School, which I was there until 2001), I wouldn't have been through with this. Anyway, the arcade place in Port Charlotte had a lot of Bemani games (but no IIDX and Pop'n Music? Those would have been perfect), not to mention In the Groove 2, where I began to push myself to my limits. I also play Dragon Quest VIII right now and have gotten the Liquid Metal Sword. My favorite character in DQ is no doubt the slime-type characters. In short, they are hilarious! I'm still a Halo 2 player, but I use it for parties and social events, or if I want to push myself to my limits with a friend on Legendary difficulty. I don't have an Xbox 360 yet, for those of you want to know.

In October 2005, I got StepMania, despite my technical limitations on my old computer, and wasn't disappointed. I'm still fascinated about how this open-source technology could do here. Expect most of my sims to return, especially the popular Legend of Trance remixed by Loki. As such, I will not submit a sim unless I have created the Beginner, Easy, Medium and Hard steps (Expert steps optional). Also, I do not plan to do those ridiculous 12-foot Keyboard-only edits. However, I do plan to make Expert step charts for DDR sims (I worked on many, and thanks to one here for making a Genom Screams Expert step chart).

I registered in January 2006, asking for support. I expect Mooga to return for technical assistance, as well as Dokurorider. Without Dokurorider, we wouldn't have high-quality sims. Also, was Xxxplizit Gamma still around before BMS 7.0?

All in all, when I'm not in this site or playing my games or creating simfiles, I do a little R & R. Thanks for the support here.

Kento here. Although I didn't post much back in the 6.0 days.

I got started on this wild Bemani ride back with Pump It Up Premiere 2, then after the arcade took that out, it was US DDR games since then. I play ITG and IIDX (only the US version) as well. When I'm not at the arcade, I either working, working on my music, or working on the paint job on my car. And lots of DS love too.
