Hi. I'm Rita. I'm really, really new to step mania. I mean I just installed it for the first time today and a friend told me to register with the forums here. I'd like to get to know the ropes, most of the simfiles are way too hard for me here. If you can show me the ropes please send me a personal message

Hey all. I'm Kai-san, though I prefer to be just called "Kai". I've been playing Stepmania for about 2 years, training on one hand. I'm not too skilled, though, I can get Bs/Cs on most 10-footers, and tend to prefer pad-oriented stepfiles.

I create stepfiles more than I play them. I've made a good number of them so far, though it has just come to my attention that some of them will not be able to make it through this site's stepfile upload limit... orz

My stepfiles also tend to drift towards pad orientation, with most Heavy ones averaging between 8-9 feet, seeing that I also create with the less skilled in mind. Doesn't stop me from trying to spike difficulty on purpose, though.

I'm not new to the Bemani series actually, I didn't know bemani was the one who made DDR (never paid attention to the developer logos).

I attempted to play DDR (the very first one I think) a couple of times 9 years ago in an arcade in Del Amo mall (arcade is now gone I think ), but never gotten any good with DDR. I recently started getting into playing beatmania iidx and dj max series.

A bit about myself? I first played Beatmania 2nd MIX when i was 16 years old in 2000. Since then I've played Beatmania II DX and eventually when it was impossible to find a BM machine in Sydney i turned to DJ MAX Online and then DJ MAX Portable I & II on PSP. I'm now playing DJ MAX Trilogy and loving it.

I work full time as a Korean-English interpreter and now I have something to read and write about when im bored at work

Erm, "Bemani" isnt exactly a developer name, just a brand name for all of Konami's music games, since each series has it's own core staff.

Konami of course is the developer and publisher of every Bemani game.

I Josh a 19 year old male has been a part of this site for almost three years and is just now starting his forum endeavor. Whether it will last or not only God knows.

I mostly played DDR and Beatmania. I have dabbled with Pop'n and Guitar freaks Drummania but not too experienced with those.

Thy Other hobbies include Running, Martial Arts, Free Running(Combination of the two), Music hunting and Drawing.

I'm xII Zephyr IIx. I'm 23 years old. I used to play alot of DDR back in high school. Then I switched to DJ Max about 2 years ago. Now I'm trying to get into IIDX.
