In Short: I like bemani games, and I like the community here. Ive been coming since around 5.0 (I think it was the one with the music and whatnot). I study in Australia but Im originally from the bay area in California.

I recently quit SM, it just wasn't fun anymore. I play o2jam more now, and occasionally DJMax, yea, that's about it for me.

hey.

my name is blues_drive_monster. im an amateur simfile creator and the president of the DDR club of Ithaca College. i founded it last year as a freshman and got a small membership together so we could run Stepmania off our laptops and ignition pads in huge lecture halls, just hanging out and playing on massive theatre screens .

besides DDR i play console/pc games, but no other bemani just yet. personally id consider Punchmania (my favorite arcade game ever) to be bemani, but i guess konami didn't consider it 'musical' enough.

i have a small library of about 10 simfiles ive made--only about 4 of them are really completed enough to post on this site. ive posted three thus far and when i get my new laptop (frickin toshiba burned out on me) i expect to finish most of the others. if you have time, please search my user name on the file database and try out my files! everything i do is pad-oriented, and i usually test out my work during DDRIC meetings.

Been into Bemani type stuff since the year 2000. Still not too good at it, though. I am rather good at chess, backgammon, mahjong (When people actually play with the simple Hong Kong rules and exclude all of the American special hands).
