I'm The Wise Fool, been playing DDR since November '05. I'm an amateur simfile writer, you might see some of my files on bemanistyle soon. Please critique!

People call me Joe. As of this writing I am 17. If the name didn't give it away, I am male.

I used to play DDR several years back, but I suppose I got tired of it. I had recently recieved the Beatmania USA bundle and was then spurred to get IIDX RED. There isn't too much in the way of non-DDR Bemani in my area (central NJ) so I do all of my gameplay at home.

I am a rhythm game junkie as can be seen by my PS2 game collection (Amplitude, Frequency, Gitaroo Man, Guitar Hero, BMUS, IIDX RED). I ironically live with a rhythmically challenged brother, who I beat in IIDX using one of my stuffed Pikachus.

I am half-Vietnamese and half-Chinese and am possibly the worst of both you'll ever see. Living in a household where both parents speak Vietnamese but being babysitted by Chinese-speaking relatives meant I picked up neither. I find it rather disadvantageous.

I also have this odd obsession with Pikachus. I have two stuffed Pikachus and tend to incorporate Pikachus into most things I do online.

This post is in all likelyhood far longer than necessary.

So. I've been around for a while.

I found DDR while working at an import video game store when I was 15, played pretty hardcore until I was 19, then moved onto better stuff.

During that time, I picked up all the other Bemani games at one point or another and got incredibly good at them.

I'm 21 now, and basically the only one I play anymore is Drummania. Just because I can look so incredibly cool while doing it.

I work at a large video game corporation now, and basically all I do is work and play Smash Brothers with my large group of friends.

I pretty much hit up any convention I can around this area. Not to actually attend any convention-related activities, but to steal from dealers rooms and attend various parties that my friends and I get invited to.

I'm gay too. But that doesn't matter.

I've played StepMania since I can remember. (over 6k songs!)

I'm getting into IIDX. (5-Wall FTW)

ITG eats babies.

PIU is way more fun than DDR and the arcade's right down the road. Plus there's much AC'ing going on in that arcade.

Hey all. My name is Jared and come from Australia (I am male and 13 years old) and where I live (Pt Pirie) they don't have a DDR machine. Which is really disappointing, but I still get to come on bemanistyle and listen to all the music submitted and download the steps so it's all good. Actually it isn't... this computer sucks so Stepmania doens't work and DWI sometimes laggs but apart from that it is possible for me to play songs and when it works I enjoy myself. Even though I can only do 8 feet as the highest difficulty (usually - working on getting Sweet Sweet Love Magic done on 9).

I discovered DDR from a friend. My hobbies are making music, remixing, writing stories, hanging out with my friends, listening to music and going for walks.

My favourite artist is Zelest (she hasn't released her music - although I've suggested).

My favourite book is The Da Vinci Code (and I'm gonna go read Angels and Demons soon).

Have too many fave. songs...

And yea.... glad to be part of bemanistyle-sevenpointzero!

I'm usually known on other forums as YURiLOVER (like DDR:UK and Orange Lounge Radio) but I tried to log in as my name on BemaniStyle (printer101) but I couldn't so I just re-registered as that name again. *sigh* Anyways, I might be going to BemaniFest or whatever that thing was that TGA is holding this summer.

EDIT: I also love the look of the site now. I hated the black and yellow theme. This red theme is much more better. Aesthetically pleasing to my eyes.
